Cat&Mouse beer bar and concept store I

The place is in a 100-year-old 3-storey house, one of the many in this part, characterized by a small front- and minimal floor size. The gross area is just 20 m2 per floor, and the bar is located only on the first ground level. Instead of creating a simple beer store, the place is nowadays a degustation point for hundreds of Belgian beers and a place to meet and chat with other beer lovers in a simple and cosy home environment. At the same time, the bar works as a showroom for local craftsman-designed furniture, where everyone can explore different materials and experience unforgettable design experiences. The most common materials in the interior that underline the cosy feeling are plywood and natural wood. At the same time, they contrast with the non-painted steel/metal elements, black walls and ceiling, and exposed old brick walls, which were part of the building’s original construction.
