Biblio Bus

The initiative was part of a competition for which entries were called to promote the Night of Museums and Galleries. Under the auspices of this festival, the winning project consisted of a proposal for a shared reading space. Rather than replacing the conventional library, the idea was to complement it and expand its functions by taking advantage of the site’s visibility and thus challenging passersby to take up the habit of reading. Adopting a provocative, alternative stance that strove to highlight the urgent need for up-to-date libraries, the project was aimed at young people in particular and, in general, at making people aware of the problem of the low proportion of readers among the citizens.
